Fusing Hawaiian melodies, krontjong roots, and American rock & roll, pioneers like the Tielman Brothers turned stages into acrobatic spectacles. Playing the Fender Jazzmaster behind the head, plucking strings with their teeth, and utilizing heavy tape-echo, they laid the groundwork for European rock music. This patch honors that raw, revolutionary energy born from diaspora and displacement—a loud, proud testament to the original kings of the Dutch rock scene.
