In this design, the swirling liquids are reimagined through the lens of Mega Mendung, the iconic cloud motif from Cirebon, West Java. Originally inspired by Chinese ceramics brought via ancient trade routes, Mega Mendung symbolizes patience and the cooling of tempers. By merging this historic batik geometry with the beloved iced dessert, we celebrate the layers of Indonesian history—a refreshing blend of trade, tradition, and enduring sweetness that travelled with the diaspora across the globe.
